Single PC Setup

Install GCRS on the working PC.
Activate license and create the first admin user.
Create company and financial year workspace.
Keep backup copy of the local data folder.

Office Server / Shared PC Setup

Best for Professional or Enterprise plans where multiple users need the same company data.

Select one reliable office PC or local server as data host.
Store the GCRS data folder on that machine.
Share the folder only with authorized Windows users.
Connect client PCs to that shared location as per license session limits.

Set up the main data location before all users start working.

Choose host PC

Select a stable PC/server that remains available during office hours.

Create data folder

Keep GCRS data in a dedicated folder with restricted permissions.

Share securely

Grant read/write access only to users who need to work in GCRS.

Connect users

Each user logs in with their own software user account under license limits.

Backup daily

Use external drive, NAS or trusted backup software for scheduled backups.

Review access

Remove old staff and inactive users from Windows share and GCRS users.
